MY Projects IN QUANTITATIVE AND QUALITATIVE RESEARCH
MENTOR MATCH
I worked with a school team of four members to develop a fully functional prototype of a mobile health application. We conducted extensive quantitative and qualitative research throughout including surveys, informal interviews, contextual inquiries, work models, usability tests and heuristic evaluations.
CMS
This project explored the affordances and limitations of using a Course Management System (CMS) for teaching a programming course at UC Berkeley. In this mixed methods research project, I identified limitations of the current CMS and provided suggestions for improvement that are being considered for implementation.
Bart
A qualitative research project involving ethnography, field work and informal interviews aimed at understanding the difficulties faced by commuters in using the technologies inherent at a BART station. I identified various issues faced by commuters and improvements needed for these technologies meant for self-service.
